About the Targeted Advisory Service on Animal Health (TASAH)

Trained veterinary practitioners will be funded to deliver a Targeted Advisory Service on Animal Health (TASAH) as part of the DAFM Rural Development Plan, in conjunction with the EU.

Under the Service, veterinary practitioners are funded for up to three hours of advice per visit. Veterinary practitioners will need to have done TASAH training, delivered by Animal Health Ireland, for the specific TASAH service. Speak with your local veterinary practitioner on which TASAH services they are able to offer you.

Veterinary-led sign-up

Further TASAH-funded services are available through your local veterinarian for the following programmes, including advice on disease prevention, control and animal welfare in the pig and poultry sectors.
