Technical Working Groups

The Technical Working Groups (TWGs) comprise experts and experienced practitioners from a variety of fields who are tasked with drawing up factual resources, the development of decision-making tools, and the identification of areas for further Research and Development.

Furthermore, in areas in which AHI is developing disease control and eradication programmes of national scope, the TWGs, in conjunction with the relevant Implementation Group (IG), are responsible for the development and implementation of these programmes. By giving of their time free of charge, these experts enable AHI access the technical resources required to develop its various programmes at a fraction of the true commercial cost of such expertise. Animal Health Ireland gratefully acknowledges the generosity of these individuals and that of their parent organisations and employers in this regard.
