Beef HealthCheck Map

The maps below show both herd and animal level liver fluke slaughter prevalence per county for homebred cattle under 30 months of age from recently reported Beef HealthCheck slaughter data. Data is for the quarter indicated and is not cumulative for the year.

Live fluke indicates that live fluke parasites were seen at slaughter. Liver fluke damage suggests that the liver at slaughter showed damage due to liver fluke but no live parasites were seen. Fluke damage can be due to a liver fluke infection at any point in the animal’s life that has been treated or resolved.

Hover your mouse over the county of interest to see specific percentages. Greyed out counties had insufficient data to calculate percentages for this period.
