Johne’s disease Implementation Group

The Johne’s disease Implementation Group is the over-arching forum for stakeholder representatives to contribute to the development and implementation of the policies and procedures of the Irish Johne’s Control Programme. The Implementation Group is the decision-making body regarding the initiation and ongoing implementation of the programme.

The main emphasis of the Group is the strategic direction of the programme, monitoring progress, and agreed sharing of responsibilities including funding. The IG operates by constructive partnership and consensus agreement.
