As part of the Rural Development Plan 2014-2020, DAFM, in conjunction with the EU, are funding a Targeted Advisory Service on Animal Health (TASAH) for farmers, delivered by trained veterinary practitioners.
Under the Service, veterinary practitioners are funded for up to three hours of advice per visit. Only veterinary practitioners who have undertaken TASAH training, delivered by Animal Health Ireland, in relation to the relevant disease will be eligible to provide the Service.
