Live fluke indicates that live fluke parasites were seen at slaughter. Liver fluke damage indicates that the liver at slaughter showed damage due to liver fluke but no live parasites were seen. Fluke damage can be due to a liver fluke infection at any point in the animal’s life that has been treated or resolved.
