In this month’s Johne’s Disease bulletin we discuss the number of ways that Johne’s Disease can be introduced into a herd. The most important route is through the purchase of infected animals; however, other means include the introduction of infectious material from other herds, most notably slurry and shared colostrum or whole milk.
